Texas With All: Everything About Texas

Fort Worth Texas Real Estate

Darren Dunners

At Fort Worth Texas real estate we not only assist the buyers and sellers to put their deal across, we also help them with lots of good advice right along the deal. Buying and selling real estate has a lot to do with emotions.

The first advice we at Fort Worth Texas real estate give every would be buyers and sellers is to disconnect their emotions in the deal. To a seller Fort Worth real estate refers to the property as a ‘house’ and to the buyer as a ‘home.’ The reason for this is that when you are selling your house you have emotions attached to it. One such emotion is that you feel for having lived in the house, which was your home sweet home. You came back after a tired day to a happy home. Your baby was born or the happy times you had with the neighbourhood. Leaving behind all these are emotionally a tough experience. So, to disconnect this emotion we refer to the seller the property as a ‘house’ and encourage them to think of the house only as a marketable item or commodity. Unless the seller discontinues his or her emotions the sale will take longer time. The seller should also be able to listen without commenting on the remarks that a buyer may make with regard to changes that he or she will effect in the house to make it comfortable for him or her or their family to live in. There may be a wall which the buyer may want to pull down but that is his liking and the seller must not get offended.

Similarly, if you are buying a house of your own, and if it is for the first time, it is indeed an emotion filled occasion. We at Fort Worth Texas real estate advice the buyers to be considerate with their comments when they visit to inspect the house that they are intending to buy. Until it is bough by them it is not their home. It’s only a house. So, what ever changes that they intend doing should be discussed by the family after the purchase of the house or in the absence of the seller. Further, when you are filled with emotions and try to express it openly by showing that you adore the house that you had just seen; there will be very little room left to bargain on the price. The seller may take advantage of your emotions.

We at Fort Worth real estate encourage the buyers and sellers alike to study the prices of similar real estate. Fort Worth Texas real estate has a comprehensive list of real estate that were sold during the last six months with prices, location, floor area and condition of the houses which can be used as a guide line in deciding the price of the house you want to buy or sell.

Having had a lot of experience in dealing with many types of buyers and sellers of real estate we can tell through experience that emotions can be detrimental to any real estate deal. Therefore, we at Fort Worth real estate “de-personalise” the sale for both parties so that their decisions may be taken without emotions.
